# Provider Data Refresh

> Understand Vantage's data refresh schedules.

For most provider integrations, Vantage refreshes data once every 24 hours. Some providers may have different data refresh schedules, which are listed here.

## Two-Day Cost Data Delay

By default, Vantage applies a two-day delay to the cost data shown across the console. Cost Reports, [report notifications](/report_notifications), forecasts, and recommendation lookbacks clip their end date to two days before the current date (for example, on July 21 the most recent day shown is July 19).

This delay is applied to every account by default. It exists because cloud providers and SaaS vendors deliver billing data with a lag, and the most recent one to two days of data is often still landing and incomplete. Clipping the end date prevents partial data from being displayed as if it were final, which would otherwise cause the most recent days to appear artificially low and change as more data arrives.

  The two-day delay is separate from each provider's refresh cadence listed above. Even after a provider refreshes, its two most recent days are held back from the console view for completeness.

### Removing the Delay

The two-day delay is a Vantage-managed account setting rather than a self-service option in the console. If you want to see the most recent days as soon as data lands, contact [support@vantage.sh](mailto:support@vantage.sh) and request that the cost data delay be removed from your account.

  Removing the delay surfaces the most recent one to two days sooner, but those days may be incomplete and their totals will change as the remaining provider data lands. This is the trade-off the delay is designed to avoid.
